Over the last couple of years, we’ve been able to:
Go Paperless
We implement a paperless policy wherever we can, and have converted almost all the paper-basedprocedures to electronic form.
Adopt electronic sign-off
Our Pharmacists can view prescriptions and sign off on prescriptions electronically and finalize compliance packages electronically through our online portal with 2-factor authentication.
Use sharps containers
We offer sharps containers free of charge to clients. Sharps bins allow safe handling and disposal of needles and any sharp objects to prevent injuries and reduce waste.
Offer safe medication disposal
We encourage customers to bring in their unused medication to the pharmacy for proper disposal - this effort contributes to preventing medications from contaminating the water supply.
Produce less waste
Instead of stocking multiple bottles in smaller quantities, we've invested in ordering larger packsizes to reduce plastic medication container waste.
Take special care of biohazard waste
We gather all biohazardous waste in specialized containers that are collected by Ministry of Environment approved facilities who help dispose of the waste in an environmentally-friendly manner.
Monitor energy usage
We have revamped our facility to become more energy efficient by replacing the original drainage system and updating the HVAC system for more efficiency and becoming more environment-friendly. Additional modifications were done to reduce energy usages, such as new wiring, lighting, plumbing, and sound insulation.
